Passionate, energetic, patient, and caring are a few terms most often used to describe Carlos D. Flowers. As the founder of C. Flowers Law PLLC, Carlos and his firm focuses on providing personalized services for all clients regardless of their situation. Though his firm provides a suite of estate planning and business services, Carlos’s primary goals are educating his clients and helping them decide on the right solutions that meets their specific needs.
Carlos has an extensive background that helped prepare him for his role as an attorney. From his earliest days, he was exposed to selflessness. Born in rural Mississippi, Carlos was raised by his grandparents until the age of ten. Providing for the family as land laborers and maid services, his grandparents instilled a sense of ethics, integrity, and hard work into his childhood experiences.
Though they earned very little, Carlos witnessed how they worked hard and provided for him and the rest of the family. After returning from overseas orders, his mother and step-father took over where his grandparents left off, reenforcing the need to work hard, driving and encouraging him to achieve excellence inside and outside the classroom, and teaching him discipline.
Carlos is a former athlete and obtained his competitive edge from football. As a defensive captain, he led by example. His first professional experience was when he served honorably and distinguished himself in the US Air Force. After completing his service and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from McMurry University, Carlos jumped into an extensive and competitive professional career in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical sales, and leadership. He worked for several Fortune 500 companies like Philips, Abbvie, Allergan, and Smith and Nephew. In almost two decades, Carlos excelled, challenged himself, and reached the highest success levels.
As his career grew, so did his responsibilities. His roles ultimately led him to national-level sales and leadership roles, developing others, growing revenue, and exceeding all expectations. Throughout the years, Carlos earned the highest accolades from his leaders and peers alike, earning a well-deserved reputation in the industry. His experience laid the foundation for his law career, which he embarked on while working full-time and attending law school in the evenings.
He earned his JD from Texas A&M University.
In his free time, Carlos loves spending time with his family. He enjoys watching (and playing) sports, working out, and hanging out with his dogs, Gigi and Jax. Carlos gives back to the community by volunteering his time with Head Start of Greater Dallas, where he has spent three years on the board of directors.
